After the end of the Civil War, the winning side started the construction of various monuments in areas where they had fought with greater virulence. One was north of Burgos, on the northern front. This is dedicated to the 62 Division and his command, General Antonio Sagardia Ramos.
This monument represents a triumphant eagle at the base are engraved the names of the rebel forces who fought in the area, and the name of the builders.
The entrance is flanked by two columns, behind them some small stairs leading to the monument. Built in 1962, has seen better days, graffiti and damage are present throughout the environment. The passage of time has made quite a toll on construction.
