Catchy Phrases To Spread In School

Draft Letter to Fondart

Alongside BioRockímica my career, I continue with my work as a researcher at the Chilean rock. This I do for art's sake. Thanks to the workshop I'm taking ( http://tallerdeinvestigaciondelrockchileno.blogspot.com/ ) and the books I've read I have found many very good bands and songs of our rock. So as you can not study the history of rock without separating from the universal history, especially the Cold War, if you understand it fully, you can not separate the history of Chilean rock ideologies that prevailed during the 60s onwards, in addition above-mentioned global context. Chile during the late '60s onward, especially during the government Salvador Allende, lived a political polarization degrees cuasidogmáticos. Or were upeliento or were facho. Or you were playing by the Chilean road to socialism and fought to maintain the benefits of bourgeois life. Irreconcilable camps, or were one or the other eras. In the middle were many Chilean rockers, those pioneers who lived a thousand dramas for wanting to showcase their music.

Some examples: Kissing Spell (later to be called Embrujo) he took the Teatro Marconi, where they would be presented once. A crowd will take the stage before the band arrived with banners saying "Here, foreign-influenced music is played!" "Yankees go home!" "No to imperialism, only by the fact that electronic instruments played Kissing Spell. Or Blop who the fuck made at the XII Festival de la Cancion de Viña del Mar (very right at the time) as being related to left-wing artists, like Victor Jara and Angel Parra, also of community life estivo La Manchufela. On leaving the scene found a graffiti in the dressing room: "Go fuck hippies." And that's Blops were not committed to the Allende government. In fact, in the same Dicapo (Disco Song of the People, founded by JJCC) put them fuss for his first album for their letters and were not easily understood, nor alluded to the revolutionary cause of those years. They tried to boycott this album, keeping copies in the cellar and saying he was exhausted. There spoke the very Victor Jara, who personally took up the issue with the directors of Dicapo ... Chucho clean.

You see, the rockers were attacked by both the left and the right. To the right, the Rock was a libertine, disruptive of traditional values \u200b\u200bsuch as family, was promiscuous, contrary to the moral, pure curly, bad example. Rock To the left was not just another attempt by imperialist cultural penetration smelly Uncle Sam untied the revolutionary youth of their obligations. As both ideologies were agreed in their disapproval by drugs.

Why talk when you came the dictatorship ... besides all the persecution based on a Marxist paranoia (fear not engender any good, I think), assassinations, disappearances, curfew ... died nightlife, Chilean rockers were left without places to play, records that were not able to go on sale as the first LP of The Sacred, others who had to circumvent censorship in metaphors, such as Terra Incognita of Congress the end of vinyl pressing in Chile (an anecdote: vinyl crimping machine was sold to Peru ... but the diamond scratched discs. ... If we are very Flaites), burning all vinyls associated with the Popular Unity government (farewell to the master tapes of all the New Chilean Song and groups like The Blops, The Sacred, Native Americans ...) only military to want to erase the history of a blow. Music

But know their way, even in adversity. Thanks to the not so new technologies can now listen to a lot of material that has been rescued. Since all three albums were reissued in 2001, The Blops out of vinyl ... but there are several disks that even today are discontinued, as the self-titled album Bewitched, or lie in old warehouses, corroding by rust and neglect. And on the original copies circulating in some stores or online, one of them is worth many dollars and are eagerly sought by collectors.

Fortunately there are people who believe in the wonder of music that you know is worth fighting for these songs reach people. One of the qualities of Rock And Roll, and I think that's one reason why it is so great as it is, is your destination for people. Loaded with erotic vibes, libealizador of the soul, more energetic than a thousand energy drinks and six hundred sixty-six thousand chupilcas the devil to dry. And in this company I join me in helping spread the Chilean rock via the internet, youtube, etc.. Ideally, the vinyls were reissued on compact disc, with all of the law, so that people can listen at home and the authors of the records received their respective copyright. I think it's a debt we owed to our history: our catalog reissue rocker.

Meanwhile, there are the rockers, the scholar fans, music lovers, who have the music in a crucial pillar of our lives, beyond mere entertainment, escape, or use a jingle.
why I started this project: PrimaveraRockChile. Seeking to release all the music that others have handled perguétanos blamed for A, B or C motif. Because that is the spring season in the life of diversification, new things are created, comes the joy in the air, as the rock. I'm just a rocker, always willing to learn from the small details of life. Love and Curiosity is my engines, and the projection of life as a rudder.
